Antique Taplin Light Running Hand mixer/beater. Cast iron crank and wheel mechanism with offset handle and green wooden knob Marked The Taplin Mfg Co New Britain Conn USAA on one side of the wheel and Light Running Pat Nov 24 '08 on the other side. This kitchen utensil is a testament to how well things were made back then, as it is still fully functional. The gears align and it still cranks quite smoothly. This would have been an essential tool in the homemaker's kitchen It is in remarkably good condition for its age, has a nice patina. This would be a magnificent display piece!Listing is for a vintage High Speed Super Center Drive Hand Beater Mixer with a wood handle, in great used condition Measures approximately 11.5 long x 3wide.Vintage grilling fork is free with purchase of the two beaters.Both beaters do a little rust on them,but I don't want to sand them. I don't to scratch them.
